"Gary, I was finally able to get the wiring harness I bought from you this last weekend. My friend and I played my Les Paul before the swap and after. He is a long time player but not a Les Paul fan, he was not convinced this would be a noticeable difference. Once we plugged in after installation he and I both were floored by the tonal difference in my guitar. It is THE tone I have been seeking since I bought the guitar in 2010. I have a 2007 GOTW Les Paul classic in antique fireburst. I have installed the Joe Bonamassa 1959 pup from Seymour Duncan. I was surprised it had this high end frequency that was like someone scratching nails on a chalkboard. Your recommended wiring harness was the final piece of the tone puzzle for me. "Gary you know it's really strange, I talked to 3 different custom builders who do the same thing you do and they all told me it can't be done with a 3 way switch and a tone control for just the bridge pick up. |

"Amazing! I installed the "Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe Prewired 50s Wiring Harness with Vintage PIO K40Y-9 Tone Caps" in my Epiphone Les Paul Tommy Thayer "White Lightning". The guitar went from a shrill, thin tone, to fat, smooth, tone at any volume level. I have PRS, Gibson, and Fenders, but this Epi is just amazing - I don't want to put it down. "I have to tell you how pleased I am with the tone of my Les Paul. I used one of your prewired harnesses and also changed all wiring to "50's wiring". One other modification that I did was swap the Gibson 57 classics out and put in Duncan Antiquities. I'm indifferent on the Bournes, because I have to get used to how effortlessly they turn. Performance wise, they work great. I find myself using the Tone Knobs more than I used to. All I know is I LOVE the tone of this guitar. I have a professional level friend who played the stock guitar and felt it was a muddy tone. After he played it with the upgrades, he says "This is the Les Paul to end all Les Paul's!" I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your work, how much you put into these kits, your attention to detail, everything. I've seen other kits sell for twice as much that don't even come close to your quality. I've seen people sell kits that are cheaper and you can feel it in the knobs and hear it through the amp.
