Tone Man Guitar prewired kits will improve your guitars performance. Notes will open up. Sound will be stronger, tighter with improved clarity. Tone / volume controls are very responsive. Kits are carefully custom hand wired to order using the best quality parts with vintage cloth push back wire like they used back in the 50s and early 60s. You will not find a better product.
Please read the details below.
Special Tone Modification Pickup Selection: Our Vintage 3 Pickup Les Paul Harness is wired with a special modified schematic that gives you the best pickup combination selection for 3 pickups. The standard wiring for 3 humbucker guitar is Bridge / Bridge & Middle / Neck. With our modified set up the Neck & Bridge pickups still operate the same with the 3-way toggle as a standard 2 pickup Les Paul and you can bring the middle pickup in just by turning up the middle pickup volume in any of the switch positions. This gives you Bridge / Bridge & Neck / Neck with the ability to add the middle pickup in any position. This kit has 1 Master Tone and 3 Volume controls.
This Kit Is For:
Gibson Les Paul with 3 pickups, 4 controls and 3 way switch using long shaft pots.

I personally prefer Bourn's potentiometers over all other brands incuding CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. One of the highest rated guitar pots on the market. These pots are coarse 18 teeth spline so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type knobs will fit fine. We do offer a line of knobs that fit.
**If you are not sure whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots please check before ordering. Normally Pre-1977 Gibson Les Paul's, Epiphone's, SG's, Hamer's and PRS's use short shafts. This kit uses Long Shaft and as a general rule will fit most USA made Gibson Les Paul's manufactured after 1977. If you have questions feel free to email me.
Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings. Email me with questions.

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and the output jack. A 25 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended. Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation. I can not be responsible if you damage a unit.
Each harness is assembled after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 5 to 10 business days. I will send you an email once your unit is shipped.
