NEW ... Our Best Tele Kit. We have taken our Tele kit and totally redesigned it. The Blues 60's Tele kit uses the best audio taper pots, aged PIO .033uf tone cap for the best vintage 60's tone. Now we have added a NEW feature. Special volume / tone frequency filter that helps remove some of those harsh high frequencies (Ice pick sound) while allowing those sweet higher frequencies on thru. Improved taper and performance of volume and tone controls with less treble loss.
The Blues 60's Tele kit gives you the very best clean vintage tone from which you can dial in from your controls, amp or pedal settings your favorite genre of sound. Blues, Rock, Jazz, Country or Rockabilly plus still giving you that Tele Twang when wanted. You will Love This Tone!

Pot Value Option:
If you have Noiseless pickups we recommend and give you the option of using 500K pots. Just select 500K pot option above when purchased. We will use 500K pots. For best results we use a little lower value of 500K down closer to 400 to 440K for the Tele.
What's In The Kit:
Component cut out cavity min depth and width required to fit full size pots and switch;
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, longer lasting with the very best audio taper. One of the highest rated guitar pots on the market.
Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes in the pick guard to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings.ith any questions.
Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pick ups and output jack. A 25 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended. Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation. Plus we are here to help if needed.
Each harness is custom built after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 5 to 10 business days. In stock means I have the parts to build. You will receive a notice with USPS tracking number once shipped.

What's In The Kit:
- Bourns high grade 250K audio taper pots for the best tone. Each pot comes with 2 nuts and 1 dress washer.
- Includes Sleeve adapters to convert split shaft to solid pot shaft if needed for set screw type knobs
- Oak Grigsby 3 way switch for 3 distinct Tele sounds plus Switchcraft 1/4 jack.
- Vintage Paper-In-Oil (PIO) .033uf K40Y aged tone Capacitor. The key to great blues tone.
- NEW ... Special volume / tone frequency filtering. Smooths out the relationship between volume and tone controlling, less treble loss when adjusting volume and helps eliminate some of those harsh high frequencies while keeping those sweet high frequencies.
- All wired with Vintage 50’s Style Gavitt Cloth Push Back 22awg wire. All about true 50's vintage tone.
- Blues 60's Tele wiring diagram with easy to read step by step installation instructions
- Assemble Template. Note these templates do not get installed in your guitar. Only used to assure correct measurement when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the project easier.

- Cavity control depth min 1 5/8 inch (switch depth that sets down in cavity 1 1/2 inch)
- Distance volume to tone control center to center 2.5 inches
- Distance between switch mounting holes 1 - 5/8 inch
