No matter what your genre of music is you first must start off with a good clean vintage tone.  From there you can dial in your desired tone with amp / guitar controls and if you like your favorite pedal.  This is what our special designed upgrade kits using Ole School Techniques do for you.  Easy-To-Install with all necessary component connections made for you and easy to read instructions. Solder in your pickups, string ground, switch connections and you are ready to go.  These kits are also available in a DIY version. If you don't find your guitar we offer quotes on custom build kits to your guitars specs.

Our upgrade kits will improve your guitars performance.  We only use premium components that sound and work better than the stock electronic parts found today’s guitars. Every part is hand tested for accuracy and tolerance to give you the best control. Our tone caps are 2nd to none. We offer both Orange Drops and my own favorite aged Vintage Paper In Oil (PIO) caps. They give that true vintage tone that both Gibson and Fender had back in the 50s and early 60s. All wiring is vintage with push back Gavitt cloth wire. Just like Leo used. Every kit is carefully hand wired to your order. Just take a look at the pictures of our product and compare. I take great pride in my work and wire every kit myself as if it was for my own guitar.
